Gatwick Airport Bus

At Gatwick Airport, passengers have the following bus options to move around: 

 

BUS STOPS LOCATION 

Services operate from the lower South Terminal forecourt. Some also call at North Terminal (on the lower level outside international arrivals). 

LOCAL BUSES 

The main services running to and from Gatwick are operated by Metrobus and Southdown.

Metrobus Route 4 and 5

It goes to County Oak, Crawley and Wakehams Green.

There are about four buses per hour.

Fares

Single tickets start at 1.70£. 

Metrobus Fastway 10

It goes from Gatwick to Crawley and Bewbush. Stops to City Place, Manor Royal Industrial Area, Crawley town centre, Southgate Avenue, Broadfield and Bewbush.

Frequency about every 6 minutes. Works 24 hours a day. Stops at both terminals.

To Horley town centre, Langshott, City Place, Gatwick Road, Three Bridges, Southgate Avenue and Broadfield.

Frequency every 15 minutes all day. Works 24 hours a day.

Operating from South Terminal to Charlwood, Leigh, Dorking, Westcott and Holmbury St Mary.

Approximately every two hours, Monday to Friday.

To Redhill, Horley town centre, Court Lodge, Salfords, East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, Manor Royal Industrial Area, Northgate, Crawley Town Centre and Maidenbower.

Metrobus Gatwick Route 200

Operating (from Gatwick South only during daytimes) to City Place, Manor Royal Industrial Area, Langley Green, Ifield, Gossops Green, Bewbush, Faygate, Roffey, North Heath and Horsham.

Frequency every 30 minutes.

Metrobus Route 400

Operating from South Terminal to City Place, Gatwick Road, Crawley, Copthorne Hotel, Felbridge Hotel, East Grinstead, East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, Godstone and Caterham.

There is one bus per hour from Monday to Saturday, and every two hours on Sunday.

Operating from South Terminal To East Surrey Hospital, Whitebushes, Redhill, Reigate, Lower Kingswood, Tadworth, Preston Estate & Epsom.

There is one bus every hour from Monday to Saturday.

Oxford Bus Company (The Airline)

The Airline to Oxford is a day and night airport coach service, taking you directly to Oxford. With legroom, free Wi-Fi and power sockets.

Take into consideration that routes are limited. 

Flixbus

It operates to London Heathrow, Cardiff, Newport, and also Bristol, among others. Services from both terminales: North and South.  Find more information here. 

Where are the Bus stops located? 

Local buses depart from stops on the A23, located at the South Terminal. 

HOTEL SHUTTLES

The bus transfer service goes between the North and South Terminals and several hotels.

They provide service 24 hours a day and the ticket has a cost of £3, which can be bought on board in cash. 

Where to take hotel buses? 

In North Terminal at Bus stop 8 on the Arrivals forecourt. In South Terminal at Bus stop 9 on the Arrivals forecourt.
